JOSH BURNETT
Josh is a graduate of York University’s Honours Kinesiology and Health Science program as well as The University of Windsor’s Education program for Physical Education and Biology. 

As a Registered Kinesiologist through the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario and a Certified Personal Trainer Specialist and Healthy Eating and Weight Loss Coach through Can-Fit-Pro, Josh is doing what he loves on a daily basis by helping the members and personal training clients of Owen Sound Fitness and Training, and the public to live healthier lifestyles and stay active.

Josh has taught overseas on two separate occasions, once in Icheon, South Korea and once in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. These experiences are where he realized and grew his passion for fitness, business and for a life in beautiful Owen Sound.  

Specializing in weight loss, as well as strength and overall fitness  and health improvement, through both personal training and nutrition Josh has been able to help a wide variety of clients to achieve their health and fitness goals.

JEFF COURAGE

I am a recently certified Personal Trainer through CanFitPro and stoked to be starting training at Owen Sound Fitness. 

I've been training myself for 6 years and have always jumped at the opportunity to help anyone who wanted to learn more on how to train smarter and more effectively. I have a lot of experience with a large variety of training styles including fat loss, muscle building and sport specific training. 

      Personally, I started training with a bodybuilding focus alternating between fat loss and muscle building focused periods. Later I started incorporating sport specific training for sports such as rugby, football, nordic skiing and track and field.

I'm excited to use my knowledge of fitness and training to help any clients achieve their goals as efficiently as possible with a personalized and maximally effective program.

MARIAH HOLLY DAYE
I'm so excited to be a part of the Owen Sound Fitness team! My love and passion for fitness goes as far back as I can remember, but it wasn't until I had my second child that I decided to really educate myself about proper training, weight lifting and nutrition so I could become a healthy role model for my kids and really transform my mind and body.

With years of trial and error and really working hard towards my personal fitness goals, I've managed to not only get in shape but to be able to maintain it, and that's what I want to help people with the most. I believe in a balanced life style and I believe everyone has different schedules, starting points, goals and preferences. I want to help you make fitness a part of your life style in a way that works for you. I want to help you get excited about your fitness goals and no matter if your goals are to focus on weight lifting to put on muscle, focus on cardio training to run a marathon or just to focus on losing body fat and gaining strength and becoming a healthier more fit you, I know I can help you get there.

A little about me, I'm a mother of two. I am OFFICIALLY A CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER! My favorite styles of training are a mix of weight lifting, boot camps, circuits and hiit training. I like to mix up training so you're not always doing the same thing and won't get bored with the same routines.
I've competed once and it was a great personal experience and definitely challenging and something I hope to do again in the future. I was published in Canada's number one fitness magazine "Inside Fitness" a few times and in 2016 was recognized as one of Canada's top 100 most fit women. I'm very motivated and have great positive energy and I love to meet new people.
I believe everyone should feel healthy, happy, fit and confident and that is my main goal in working with future clients.
I look forward to my new journey here at Owen Sound Fitness and Training, and I look forward to building new relationships and helping you achieve your desired fitness goals.

KATHERINE RUCK (KickKatFitness)
There are many reasons why people choose to exercise. Whether you want to improve your sports performance, reduce health risks, or look and feel better overall I can help you reach your goals.

I graduated from Georgian College Occupational Therapist Assistant and Physiotherapist Assistant program in 2015 and received my certified Personal trainer Specialist through Canfitpro. I'm currently the Fitness Trainer for the Owen Sound United Men's Soccer team.

My role is to motivate, enable and most of all make training enjoyable and rewarding experience for you. Your journey will be challenging but fun through various training methods such as weight training, functional training, high intensity interval training, and stretching. Your program will be individualized and created with your interests at mind. I strongly believe that to get the results you want you need to train the physical aspect as well as the mental aspect. I love seeing clients be able to complete something that they could not do before and it lights them up and they finally make that physical and mental connection.

Together, we can achieve your goals, no matter how big or small. I'm excited to continue my life's adventure and join the Owen Sound Fitness & Training team and start training you.

GEORGIE GIVEN
My name is Georgie, I've been bodybuilding seriously for about 2 years, and training for about 3.5 years total to this point. 

When I was younger I was very competitive with the sports I played (hockey, baseball, basketball, running, etc.) The reasons I started training initially were to strengthen up some areas that I had injured from sports, but too for too long I was always the smallest and skinniest person everywhere I went... I was sick of that.   My goals regarding training have obviously changed and advanced at this point, as I have my first bodybuilding show scheduled in a couple of months from now, and haven't played any sports in years.

In my opinion, bodybuilding gives you back exactly what you give it - however hard you're willing to work is the exact amount of result you'll achieve. Consistently and relentlessly eat, sleep, train, and you will grow. 

Since I got hooked on bodybuilding 2 years ago, it has been an unwavering dedication to the sport, to which those close to me know to be true. My knowledge regarding training and nutrition has become a strong point for me, as I'm constantly researching, asking questions, contacting professionals, etc. to find out methods to continuously be improving. Always be willing to learn.
